Inspiration – we may refer to this by different names. It is
God’s call for us to continue growing in our faith and for our faith
to be active in love.
For those new to faith or Grace or wondering where to get started,
twice a year Grace has a Discipleship and Ministry
class for those joining Grace and especially those new to
Lutheranism. This is also an opportunity for members to explore the
essence of faith and one's calling.

WOMEN ON
THE WINGS OF FAITH
Women on the Wings of Faith
(WoWoF) is a non-denominational women's group which meets once a
month.
Check us out--you'll be glad you did!
VIA
DE CRISTO
Via de Cristo is a three-day experience of the grace of God.
Through talks, most of which are given by lay people, experiences,
and the spiritual guidance of pastors, those attending are given an
opportunity to experience and reflect upon all that God is and does
for us. Visit the northern Wisconsin Via de Cristo webpage at
www.winorthernlightvdc.com for dates of upcoming weekends and
application forms.
GROUPING
AND ULTREYAS
Grouping and Ultreyas are
ongoing opportunities for people to reflect upon their Christian
life and calling on a monthly and quarterly basis. These are led by
people who have gone through a Via de Cristo weekend.
T.E.C.
(TEENS ENCOUNTERING CHRIST)
Teens Encounter Christ is a
Via de Cristo designed for teenagers. Go to the website:
www.badgertec.org.
TREE OF LIFE or "ON
THE WAY"
Tree of Life or "On the Way"
are spiritual retreats led through our East Central Synod of
Wisconsin. Visit the synod web page at
www.ecsw.org. Retreats are held either on the
weekend or mid-week depending on people's schedule and are held at
St. Anthony Retreat Center (www.sarcenter.com)
in Marathon or at Monte Alverno (www.montealverno.org)
in Appleton. Visit the web pages at
www.ecsw.org and go to "Calendar
of Events". Dates, application forms and cost are on the
webpage.
PURPOSE
DRIVEN LIFE
Purpose Driven Life is
a popular book and class by Rick Warren. The book and
experience is much better when done as a group. Grace has a
group each Lent and other times as requested.
LIFE
OF THE BELOVED
Life of the Beloved is a book by Henri Nouwen, and Grace has a
video on his presentation. It leads participants into simple
disciplines that make our relationship with Jesus more alive and
accessible.
CHRIST
IN OUR HOME
Christ in Our Home is a daily devotional booklet available
at Grace. The devotion and the Scripture readings are a way to
prepare and meditate on the assigned readings for Sunday. This
comes out quarterly. Pick up a copy in the Gathering space or
ask at the church office.
