ARMED
FORCES MINISTRY
A weekly mailing (notes,
emails, care packages, newsletters, and devotional materials) are
sent to Grace members serving in the Armed Forces.
FUNERAL
GROUPS
 |
Funeral Groups serve a meal following a funeral in order
to provide time for fellowship and support during a time of
grief. |
GRACE
COMMUNITY HOUSE
 |
Grace Community House provides housing for many
non-profit groups in Tomahawk. Making this available
requires coordination with the groups and constant upkeep of
the house. |
LAY
VISITATION MINISTRIES
This ministry trains and
connects people who visit and care for members of Grace who are in
nursing homes, shut-in, hospitalized, and in times of special need.
This is in addition and in support of the pastors' visits.
NEIGHBORS
IN NEED
Neighbors in Need is a ministry of Grace to the community
connecting people who need furniture or appliances with someone who
has furniture or an appliance to donate. People are needed to pickup
and deliver items, publicize the needs, and to make the matches.

PROVIDING
MEALS
This ministry is to help
people and families at special times of need. This involves
people to promote the need, coordinate the response, and to make and
deliver the meals.
QUILTERS
 |
Quilters is a group that meet every Tuesday morning at
Grace to make quilts. They are always in need of material
and of people to help stitch, sew, and visit. Quilts are
used around the world, sent through Lutheran World Relief,
and also given to people in need in Tomahawk and in the
United States. |
