CULTURAL EXPERIENCES

Cultural experience is important at Grace.  "Cultural experience" is the secular term and understand for the Biblical concept of the "Body of Christ" and Jesus' call and prayer "that we may all be one" (John 17).  Grace has been matched through our ELCA with Lekubu Lutheran Parish, a Lutheran church in South Africa.  We have exchanged visits with that parish and continue to explore and develop shared ministries and projects with them.  Grace began a relationship with Lekubu Lutheran Parish in South Africa in 2005.  Their Bishop and his wife visited Grace in 2005; representative from Grace visited Lekubu in 2006; and representatives from Lekubu visited Grace in 2007.

Grace also has a special relationship with Greater Galilee Baptist Church in Milwaukee, a member of the National Baptist Convention.
